This was part of a 100 + year old ink drawing from a old and very damaged and worn book I found. The piece was so badly deteriorated that I re-drew most of it. I then photographed it. I took digital liberties to bring it to life so to speak. I love this style and had a wonderful time recreating it.

I could spend every waking hour just clicking away whilst they are oblivious to my enthusiasm for their seemingly mundane excursions...but every now and then I believe they know that they are being admired and they grant me a glimpse of something really special. These are the moments that steal my breath away... I have branched out to other subjects but horses will always be my first, best destiny.
